alkB1 with rbs
alkB1 is alkane 1-monooxygenase from alkB1GHJ operon of a hydrocarbone-degrating marine bacterium, Alcanivorax Borkumensis SK2. When A. Borkumensis SK2 doing oil degradation, alkB1 turn long chain alkane of crude oil into alkanol. We construct alkB1 with RBS (BBa_B0034). This part is provided by project: Poseidon- save the world.
NCBI GENE ID: 4213396
Note: alkB1 gene have 2 EcoRI sites, do not digest DNA with EcoRI. Digest alkB1 with SpeI and PstI is OK.
